David Wadley

David has been a Telluride resident since 1993, moving west from Charleston, SC after graduating from the College of Charleston. For more than a decade he worked as a successful Real Estate Broker/Developer mostly with Peaks Sotheby’s International Real Estate. Working with clients from throughout the United States he gained a great perspective and appreciation for people from all types of backgrounds and areas of the country.

Looking for a new challenge he was fortunate enough to be introduced to Chip Dyer and the team at BW Dyer & Company. It was the chance of being part of such an excellent group and the challenge of achieving success in a new field that made the opportunity to hard to pass up.

Along with serving as a Captain with the Telluride Volunteer Fire Department David also serves as the Chairman of the Telluride Planning and Zoning Commission interacting with Architects, Developers as well as some of Telluride’s most active and colorful citizens in which he helps protect and guide Telluride’s future.

In his free time he can be found skiing, hiking, biking, on the golf course or just enjoying the beautiful San Juan Mountains with his wife Kate and their yellow lab Pearl.
